ABOUT CHLOË

Chloë Rain is a writer whose work explores the landscapes—both inner and outer—that shape a life.

Drawn by a lifelong search for meaning, she has lived and traveled in places where land, spirit, and culture remain deeply intertwined, including several years inside the Arctic Circle in northern Norway, where she completed a Master’s degree in Indigenous Studies researching the sacred landscape of Sápmi, home of the indigenous Sámi people.

For more than a decade she apprenticed within indigenous medicine traditions in North and South America, learning ceremonial practices and ways of listening to the rhythms of the earth.

In 2010 she founded Explore Deeply, a body of work devoted to spiritual inquiry and the moments in life when our fate meets our destiny. She currently lives on the island of Tinos in the Cyclades of Greece.

Chloë is completing a memoir about the tension between the life we imagine for ourselves and the life that ultimately claims us.

MEMOIR IN PROGRESS

“Woman Entranced by the Escape of Shooting Stars: A Memoir of the Arctic Circle and the Life That Claimed Me”

Status

Chloë is currently completing this memoir and seeking literary representation.

Chloë imagined a future shaped by love, marriage, and the familiar milestones of belonging. Instead, an unexpected series of turns carried her far from the life she thought she wanted for herself—across continents, into remote landscapes, and into the spiritual traditions of indigenous cultures. From the Arctic Circle to the mountains of Peru, her search for meaning led her into solitude in nature and spiritual encounters that reshaped her understanding of purpose and destiny. From the Arctic Circle to the mountains of Peru, she followed a call she did not fully understand.

This memoir is about the tension between the life we imagine for ourselves and the life that ultimately claims us.
